Hey everyone! Since everything has happened I’ve been getting a million emails, comments, and friend requests from bands who wanted to be featured seeing as SMOD is no more. I’ve decided to replace the “Shitpost Saturday” to a “Stoner Metal Saturday”… cause it’s about the fuckin music, right? So from now on every week I’ll be doing a post with SEVERAL doom/stoner/sludge/psychedelic music from all over YouTube. That way, we can still find and enjoy our music and discover other YouTubes (and give them some hype) that are doing some good work out there!
HOW TO BE FEATURED IN “STONER METAL SATURDAY”
Message/Email one of these YouTube channels (or a diff one, OBVIOUSLY not SMOD) to be featured as a new video (if you don’t have a video on YouTube). And yes, if your music is featured on his YouTube channel (as well) it will not be posted here. We will check.
After you have your full album link ready, send it over to me via email at MFKNZINE@GMAIL.COM (any other way will be rejected) for a review. If I like what I hear (come on… I can’t just post anything lol) and I usually do, I’ll add it to the list of albums with a review attached (that if anyone *AHEM!* tries to steal, I will literally sue you lol).
HUUUUUUUGE thank you to the stoner metal community for standing up to this creep! If you hadn’t, I would NOT have seen those screenshots and we’d still be dreading “Shitpost Saturdays”. Like I tell everyone in the music industry, KEEP THE SCREENSHOTS! Screenshoot everything. People really think they can just say and do anything sometimes… nah.

Okay so BEFORE any of this went down I was working on merch for MFKNZINE. Today I am announcing that we are OFFICIALLY doing merch! Starting out with my favorite self-portrait (hahaha!).
