It was 8pm on a Sunday night and I was running late. I was meeting a Dominatrix I had met online for a photo shoot in Chinatown, Los Angeles. Oddly enough, I arrived first. She came walking up as I sat on the steps near the Wonder Bakery — and she wasn’t alone. By her side was a sub she had ensnared on Instagram for the shoot. She was petite, dressed all in black, with a hug as warm as her personality. We’ve been talking for a while starting when I had moved to the Bay Area. Any attempt in a shoot had always fallen a part — until that night.
I had already done a walk-through before they came, so I took them to the most secluded area for them to change and we began. While she was getting ready we struck up a conversation about how she got into being a Dominatrix: “I got into pro-Domming because I had realized I was really into kink and BDSM but I didn’t have much experience and I wanted to learn so much. Training and working as a professional Domme helped me to explore and understand the things that I now know I love about kink and BDSM, and it’s very fulfilling to be able to share with others and help guide them in their experiences. And on a practical level, I was at a job that I wanted to transition out of (I used to be a professional baker), and I thought of it as an opportunity to make an income doing something that I enjoyed but didn’t strain my body so much. I still get strains though, just of a different variety!”
The shoot was amazing! All three of us vibed for hourssss! So of course we got some amazing shots… even when that old asian man walked by and looked RIGHT INTO Asahi’s… void (hahaha!). This is how we get down in Chinatown LA.
