MINUS YOUTH — ‘SUN’
TIME TO RAGE! MINUS YOUTH is a hardcore punk band from Stuttgart, Germany who’s been making music since 2017. Their new record ‘Sun’ provokes a core need to question your surroundings and a desire for utter rebellion. ‘Sun’ is the perfect album to start the week with to keep us from feeling dull and sheepish with their fast drumming and classic punk vocals. YOUR SPIRIT DIES — ‘OUR SAINTS DROWN IN ASH’
Another banger! YOUR SPIRIT DIES is a metalcore band from Columbia, South Carolina! Their sophomore album ‘Our Saints Drown In Ash’ is a brilliant spectrum of metalcore and hardcore punk. The sheer animosity bears a great harmony between the raw vocals and almost-djent riffs. WEIGHT — ‘VIOLENCE OF THE DIVINE’
If you’re looking for some punk with old school 80’s thrash thrown in, look no further! WEIGHT is a thrash/hardcore punk band from Oslo, Norway and they’ve recently released their first album ‘Violence of the Divine’. Previously WEIGHT had only been coming out with single tracks, but this full body of work really shows what this band can do! Nothing less than a righteous kick in the teeth, and one hell of a great listen. RABBIT — ‘HALO OF FLIES’
This band is killing it! RABBIT is a hardcore punk/metal band from Brooklyn, New York who’s just released a second album. ‘Halo of Flies’ is an astounding metamorphosis from their demo released earlier this year. They might be new but RABBIT is a band to watch for in the future. Hardcore punk mixed with a little bit of blackgaze, and a pinch of sludge makes for an amazing record. SOULPRISON — ‘VISION OF THE VOID’
Fuck yes!! SOULPRISON is a metallic hardcore/crossover band from Southern Germany who’s recently come out with their second album. Since their demo back in 2020 SOULPRISON has been hard at work releasing more music. The newest record ‘Vision of the Void’ even features one of my personal favorites Swiss slam/beat down band PALEFACE in their song “Boiling Point” (a certified banger). The rest of the record is just gorgeously fiery and everything one would need to get some blood pumping!
