Hey everyone! So a lot of us saw the post on Aftershock’s social media about this amazing foundation called “Living The Dream”. Like many of you, I’ve yet to hear about this place (maybe it’s the rock I’m under?), but I did a little research into it!
The Living Your Dream Foundation is “a non-profit foundation that helps children and young adults living with life-threatening illnesses stay positive, maintain hope, and appreciate each and every day, regardless of their affliction” that provides “rich and rewarding, #DREAMDAY experiences”.
So basically, you get a once in a lifetime experience GUARANTEED (if accepted) — no need to worry about whether or not you’ll see your favorite musicians. There is a short application process that you, your guardian, a friend or relative must fill out (pretty cool that you could surprise someone with this as a gift!) and send off online.
This is honestly an amazing thing! Even during the worst of COVID they had orchestrated video calls between fans and their favorite bands! The love never stops. You can also donate to the organization if you’re not eligible!
