Heyyyy!!! I missed you motherfuckers! Thanks so much for the concerns about my franken-finger. It’s healing up, but I can’t feel a good chunk of it. And yes, I got a new set of REGULAR knives, so now if I slip up again it won’t be this wild. Alright, fuck all of that… it’s metal time. I’ve been going nuts not being able to do a whole lot (or 2x slower) and I’m in need of something that could raise the dead. So this list going to fit my current mood… bloody rage. NECROMIND — ” 死 ” (DEAD)
Loving the pig squeals in this song! NECROMIND is a slamming deathcore metal band from Mexico who’s been making noise since 2017. This song is called ” 死 “ which is Chinese for “dead” which is from their latest self-titled album. The mid-song breakdown really took me back to the 90’s/00’s when they used those kinds of beats. Nevertheless, the screams are glorious and I would recommend NECROMIND for anyone who likes a deathcore band that experiments melodically. WANDERLUST — ‘PROMO 2021‘
Moving onto something more melodic and chaotic. WANDERLUST is a hardcore band from Tulungagung, Indonesia with a melodic style to their music. Being their third release, WANDERLUST kept to their main objective of having two songs per album. Their latest release being ‘PROMO 2021‘, it shows that they’ve got something more to offer than just the typical hardcore music (as does their other work). What’s a rage fueled playlist without some black fuckin metal? THE BLACK is a black metal band from Sweden (nice) and it looks like their new release ‘Alongside Death’ will be their third studio album. Classic black metal meets new age techniques — gotta love a band who stays traditional with the genre but adds their own flavor. ‘Alongside Death’ is a beautiful album of darkness, madness, and moral decay — perfect album for this playlist. THE BLACK is for those who are trve kvlt fans of black metal and that love to hear from the original homeland of the genre.
