LITTERBOX MASSACRE — “CRY OF INVOCATION”
FRESH out of the cat box, LITTERBOX MASSACRE has come out with their first single “Cry Of Invocation” from their upcoming album ‘The Nine Paws Of Hell’! I’ve never seen this band before, so when I saw the genre name “slamming catcore” I had to check it out. This two-piece metal band from Glasgow, UK has been making slamming catcore music since 2019. As many cat-loving metalheads in bands as I know, I’m surprised this idea hasn’t caught on (someone call Rob from JUDAS PRIEST). LITTERBOX MASSACRE has a habit of making slamming catcore metal from the point of view of a cat — it’s only fair (I super need these lyrics). I’m going to need a poster of this album cover by the way — pretty sure that’s what the cats are doing outside my place late at night. UNTIL I BLEED — ‘RUINED BY MY OWN HANDS’
I had a feeling about this one. UNTIL I BLEED is a hardcore/metalcore band from Fayetteville, North Carolina has just released their first EP! ‘Ruined By My Own Hands’ features different stylings of metalcore and showcases the band’s strengths. Tempo changes, slight pauses, and rapid fire vocals all adding up to one killer release. As a new band they’re going to be structuring and restructuring their music and from the sound of this I’m definitely going to like it! PNUK — ‘AFTER DEATH’
Hello all you other dyslexics! Yes, I too keep reading it as “punk” but it’s not! This killer crossover/thrash metal band is called PNUK! Headbanging all the way from Lorquí, Spain PNUK knows how to get shit started with their last release ‘After Death’ ! This is thrash metal at it’s core with some slower classic 90’s era heavy metal and beautifully cascading riffs mid-album. If you’re into thrash mixed with some 90’s METALLICA vibes, then this is the band for you! You can listen to ‘After Death’ below and go to their Band Camp to purchase!
INSIDUAL — ‘”PSYCHO” FT. TAYLOR ALAN
Every time I think that I hate all forms djent, another underground band comes along to show me the light. INSUDUAL is a one-man djent/deathcore band based out of Austin, TX who’s just recently revealed a new song called “Psycho” featuring singer TAYLOR ALAN. This is some sick-nasty shit. If you’re a fan of some heavy/crazy breakdowns that would change the way you moved in a moshpit, INSIDUAL‘s “Psycho” song featuring TAYLOR ALAN is definitely for you. Right now they’re looking for suggestions on the “your favorite deathcore song from 2000-2010” (I smell a cover song!!) so let them know on their social media. DETHRONE THE CORRUPTED — “AMIDST A THRIVING SYSTEM”
I’m really digging this band’s name for some “unknown” reason (haha!). DETHRONED THE CORRUPTED is a blackened melodic death metal band from Slovenska Bistrica, Slovenia that started back in 2012. “Amidst A Thriving System” is actually a new song from their upcoming album ‘The Amygdaloid Decay’ which is to be released in March of this year! This blackened melodic death metal band has all the perfect mixture of each genre intertwined in “Amidst A Thriving System”. Seriously looking forward to hearing the rest of their upcoming album ‘The Amygdaloid Decay’, but for now I have some DETHRONE THE CORRUPTED music to catch up on!
