NEARLY DEAD KREATURES — “VAMPIRES”
This two-piece band from Quebec, Canada packs a huge punch right from the start — they don’t play like they’re nearly dead (hahaha!). NEARLY DEAD KREATURES is a badass DEATH METAL band that I’m getting into right now. The slow crawl followed by a drum and microphone attack by both band members is a serious adrenaline rush — then converges into this wave of dark euphoria at the end. Really loving how they mix the tempo up, but no matter what it still leaves me hanging onto every chord. Very much looking forward to hearing more from this band!

MALICIOUS INC. — “BONE & MORTAR”
A serious heavy-hitter from the UK. MALICIOUS INC is a NU/GROOVE METAL band that is coming up pretty fast. I don’t get a lot of submission form the UK so I was super delighted to get this and then when I listened to the music I knew it was going on the list for sure! The tracks this band produces is always something full of raw energy and intense rage. Something we all need a little bit more of in our playlists right now. The next track I would listen to would be “Red Flag” from their latest album (also named Red Flag). Digging that face paint by the way!

PROJECT RENEGADE — “THE JOKER”
I’m seriously loving this song right now! This is a HEAVY GROOVE METAL band from Athens, Greece. PROJECT RENEGADE is a seriously different vibe than most of what I post on here — lighter, soaring vocals mixed with a hard-hitting rhythm. PROJECT RENEGADE is a little less underground than the others having done shows with bands such as: EVANESCENCE, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, and BEYOND THE BLACK. I highly recommend that you check out their live music video “One of the Crowd” after seeing their video below!

HELLGARDEN — “LEARNED TO PLAY DIRTY”
BRUTAL. I fuckin love it! Brazilian HEAVY METAL band HELLGARDEN is fucking savage for many reasons. First off, it takes me back to the 80’s right from the start. It gets a little thrashy but it’s predominantly heavy metal. This is only one of their songs for their upcoming album ‘Making Noise, Living Fast’. And not to worry! It’s out in FOUR DAYS (4/10)! So not a long wait.. just watch Tiger King on Netflix like eight more times (hahaha!). These fucking riffs dude… fuck! Okay… I need the rest of this album ASAP! FUCKIN SHIT! I love this band. With a name like CONCRETE FUNERAL, how can I not? And with a sound like this… ohhh…. come on. I’m scaring my neighbors and I love it! I can finally get back at them for all those screaming kids! This DEATH/THRASH METAL band from Calgary, Alberta (Canada) has got to be amazing to see live! I really need to see them play this whole fucking album!! It does remind me a little bit of the band DEATH (RIP my dead husband Chuck) — but more thrash and growls. I have some friends up north in Canada — should definitely come up for a show (you know, when all of this madness ends). Turn this shit ALLLLLLL the way up and scare your neighbors with me!!!
