When you think of Japanese Porn Stars what do you think of? Of course there’s the standard schoolgirl, and shibari scenes — but I can’t think of any Porn Stars from Japan. Anytime I see J-Porn (can I coin that phrase? hahaha!) it’s all blurred out in the genital area and I’m not really sure about what I’m seeing. This is totally different. This is not your average J-Porn Star either.
There’s a million new faces in the porn industry every year — but I’ve never seen one with corpse paint! Black/Death/Heavy Metal lover Rae Lil Black is a little different from the rest. For a second I couldn’t tell if she was an adult film actress or a rockstar – turns out she’s a bit of both. What made you want to get into the porn industry?
I’ve always been a naughty girl and ever since I watched my first porn (home video of Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson), the biggest dream was to become a pornstar or stripper. They and 80s hard rock bands get me into porn industry to be honest.
If you could set up your dream scene with any performer(s), who would they be?
I have so many more to name but here is a part of my list! The professional performers who I’ve never worked with and want to work in the future are:

What do you think of traditional “everything blurred out” Japanese porn?
It’s ok I guess. I actually feel like its making it more erotic and hidden. Like a forbidden fruit. And I get horny by face and eye contact, so personally speaking it doesn’t bother me. But speaking of this blur from my video editing side, it’s just a big pain in the ass haha!
What do you think about the heavy contrast between the blurred Japanese porn that’s out now and the famous erotic Japanese drawings from centuries ago?
Well Japan became (sexually) close minded after we opened the country for western countries. For example, gay sex or bi sex wasn’t special back in the day. There’s an interesting and ironic history behind it.
I see you love metal (me too)! Who are your favorite bands?
Mötley Crüe, Mayhem, and I can’t compare any others haha!
Do you remember your first metal show?
It was a Mötley Crüe show — I was 15 or 16 years old. I went there with a friend of my dad, because he was working… I got a tour shirt and towel. I still have them 🙂 I just couldn’t believe that they were playing in front of me.
Do you play any instruments?
I just started learning drums! I’m still a super beginner but I hope I can play like Tommy someday!
Any plans on merging your porn career and love for metal?
I already did one short scene with Corpse paint if that counts. And my logo is black metal inspired shape 🙂 Also It would be great if I can own my band in the future! Probably like 70/80s tribute band.
If you were in a metal band what would you call it?
RaeLilBlack hahaha!
