You know that supa kawaii all-girl Japanese metal group? They now have their own record label! BABYMETAL. On Monday, BABYMETAL RECORDS was announced via social media. It’s basically a partnership between BABYMETAL and 5B Artist Management, and we can’t wait to see who they’re signing!
“BABYMETAL has built a new partnership with 5B Artist Management and Records, a leading global music, events, and marketing firm, who manage well-known artists such as Slipknot and Megadeth,” the band said on social media.
Further details reveal the new record company is working with U.K.-based independent label Cooking Vinyl, presumably for manufacturing and distribution, as the band note the outfit’s recent handling of reissues for “prestigious artists such as Marilyn Manson and the Prodigy.”
