Music MUSIC NEWS! NEW RELEASES Uncategorized UPCOMING SHOWS

Alice In Chains, The Used + Other Released EPs + Music Videos From This Week

Lots of new stuff coming out this week! I can hardly keep up with it all, but I’m loving the new discoveries! So… first thing’s first, let’s start wiiiiiith…

The Used – “The Nexus” MV

I used to listen to The Used back when they first came out, and watching them now makes me feel like we evolved together. The Used has often had interesting music videos with creepy/nightmare-ish themes — this is no different (YAY!). This music video is by far one of the best ones I’ve seen them release. Check it out!

ICE AGE – “Clever” MV

iceageband2017_638.jpg

Swedish metal band ICE AGE has released the official music video for “Clever” from the group’s debut album Breaking The Ice, which came out last October. Breaking The Ice is a split between five re-recorded versions of the original demos and five new songs.

Lead singer Sabrina Kihlstrand says: “We are incredibly happy to present our second video from our album ‘Breaking The Ice’. The video is directed by Berget Bergman (MMI, REIGNSAW) and was filmed during our Scandinavian tour with REIGNSAW and F.K.Ü. The song itself is about being let down by a friend from an ironic perspective.”

Check out their new video!

LAGO – “Soiled Is The Crown” MV

Lago-Tyranny.jpg

Arizona’s Death Metal band Lago just came out with their new video for the track “Soiled Is The Crown” (seen below).

“This was our first experience making a video, so we were VERY apprehensive about the idea.  We tend to have a mentality of “less is more” in terms of our artistic direction, so the fear of doing something over the top and ridiculous was definitely there. This video is honestly the brain child of Matti Way.  We had a really simple idea and he really took it and ran. We were thrilled with how it turned out. The textures, the graininess, the cuts and especially the lighting turned out incredible! This video really encompasses the tone of the whole album in our opinion.”

Their latest album Sea of Duress comes out June 8th.
